Travel Tips

So, I'll start a page for general travel tips.

Packing

First and foremost, PACK PORTABLE CHARGERS. Great for airplanes/trains/vans/buses that don't have chargers. Great for when you have to share outlets with multiple people. Great for when your regular charger won't stretch all the way to the bed. OVERALL, JUST AMAZING AND GREAT. I ALWAYS PACK SEVERAL.

Check out Anker on Amazon:

Second, you will need a rain jacket. I don't care where you're going, you will need a rain jacket. Black with zippers and/or snaps works best.

Planning

I like to plan. Some may even say I over plan. However, I would far rather be over prepared than underprepared. Yes, you will want to give yourself time to just wander and find cool things to do, or cool restaurants, or cool spots to hang out.

But you do need to some planning. You can't wing everything and also expect to do everything you want to do. Going to Amsterdam and want to see the Anne Frank house? Better get tickets online or you will waste hours in line. Same for places like the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, the Coliseum in Rome, and the Tower of London. And national parks and wildlife preserves around the world often only let a certain number of people in per day (especially now with COVID) and you need to have the correct permits for different activities. And don't even get me started on Disney World. So yeah, make fun of my over-organization tendencies, but it has saved me time, money, and stress when traveling. Do your research!
