October 2026 Dump featuring the Vols

I'm going to be honest, October 2026 was not that exciting. I went to work. I tutored. I studied for my online classes. I attempted to sleep and work out. Rinse and repeat. 

Even during Fall Break, I tutored every day. You gotta do what you gotta do. 

However, we had three, yes, 3, exciting times.

1. I went to Knoxville with my parents for the UT-Auburn game which we miraculously won. We had an excellent flyover in which I could have probably touched the plane. We had with lunch with Jessica. And the guys in front of us in Neyland were extremely intoxicated. One was either just a very touchy drunk or gay. I'm not sure. 

The guy in the orange hat was very inebriated. He also did not believe in personal space when it came to the buddies he was with. The jury is still deliberating. 

We're so cute.


2. We took Lucy and Stormy to the vet for the first time in years. This event was exciting because I was convinced Stormy, my chunky monkey man, was at least 20 pounds. BEHOLD, he is only 15 pounds. My flabbers were ghasted and I feel bad for fat-shaming him. The vet did say it wouldn't hurt him to lose weight.
The scale says 15.29 pounds. I made them weigh him twice because of my disbelief.


3. In a few days, I will (probably) be a homeowner. Well, a condo/townhouse owner because I don't want to do yard work. Stay tuned. We will be renovating and housewarming.

Well, it's been a minute, and there's a lot to cover from the past few months. Let's get started. March  Listen, most of March was fine. We got to Spring Break and over Spring Break I worked at a day camp at the zoo. It was incredibly cold the first couple of days, but we made it work. February 2026 Dump featuring Cats and Team USA (the women only)

So, I'm pretty sure February didn't start until February 6th, which was the first day we went back to school after the winter weather. February is also (technically) a short month. Despite that, like January 2026, February lasted approximately 84 days. I did not get out much, and my life was a cycle of school-tutor-exercise-repeat. And that's fine. I want to get out more in March and with Spring Break, I should have time to do so. Three thoughts from February though. 1. During my winter weather induced boredom, I made a Hinge profile. And then a Bumble profile. I have thoughts. Many, many thoughts. I will keep said thoughts private until I decide I am done with the apps. 2. Public education is important. Not caring about public education and brushing it off, to me, shows you do not care about the community. And the unpaid labor of public school teachers keeps society going in many ways. 3. May (1/3) and June (1/2) 2026 Dump Featuring Singapore, Malaysia, and Bali

Y'all, I'm going to be honest, the Salt Late City to Seoul flight nearly got me. My butt hurt so bad and I got no sleep. But I made it, I got a brutal massage at the Seoul airport (1 out of 10.5 massages for the whole trip), and I touched down in Singapore right on schedule. That extra day in Singapore was crucial. I wanted to explore the airport, and I did, but I also took a four hour nap and ordered room service for dinner.  The next day (May 24, four days after the last day of school), I flew to Malaysia and I experienced a two and a half week miracle. My back didn't hurt. My shoulder didn't hurt. I felt rested even on early days. Headaches were rare, and I think driven by caffeine withdrawal. Was I hot? Absolutely. Was I sweaty? 100%. But it's Southeast Asia, you just have to embrace the sweat and take 2 showers a day. No biggie. Where did this miraculous pain-free existence come from? Every other day massages?
