The past three months have been a blur. I went to Las Vegas for Spring Break, got back, and now it's summer.
Anyway, I never did a proper post about Las Vegas. The concert I went for was amazing. The food was amazing, and the tours I did outside Vegas (the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon) were amazing. However, I am convinced Las Vegas itself is the Matrix. Or perhaps an illusion. Every hotel/casino looks the same and they all blend together. Fancy store, shiny lights, silly carpet, etc. It's underwhelming and overwhelming at the same time. The only reasons I would return are the buffets and the shows (particularly the Cirque du Soleil shows). Anyway, enjoy these pictures.

And now the school year is over. I was really excited to teach STEM this year, and the students and I got to do some cool stuff with the robots, 3D printers, and drones.

Next year though, because of numbers and schedules, I will be moving back to 7th grade science! I'm excited to be back on the 7th grade hall!
But first, we have summer. I will be traveling to London and Portugal in June, and then to St. Louis in July. The rest of the time I will be working at the zoo as a camp counselor!
The last thing I want to share before I do a photo dump from May are two links. The first is my Amazon Classroom wish list. It features a lot of pencils:
The next is for my 18-35 year old buddies looking to travel more. I have already started planning summer 2025, and I will be going to Turkey June 27-July 9. Here is the tour info:
