So, we had our Mid-Service Conference this past week. It was in Kibuye, which is on the lake and only a twenty minute bus ride from my site, so that was nice.
I ended up getting food poisoning, and missed a day and a half of sessions. There was fever, throwing up, the whole nine yards. It was rough, but I feel a lot better now.
The sessions I did make it to were most of the same things I've heard before, but it was nice to see other members of the cohort.
I don't have a ton to say since I was so sick, but it was nice to have hot showers for a week!
